            Theise our <del rend="strikethrough">Lynes</del> Letters shalbe happye to come to your <lb/>
            Ma<ex>jes</ex>t<ex>ies</ex> sight, I wish the Spirritt of the righteous god maye soe <lb/>
            direct the powers of yo<ex>u</ex>r Mynde, That you maye ioyfullye <lb/>
            imbrace the Message I send, pr<ex>e</ex>senting to you the meanes of <lb/>
            exalting the Ma<ex>jes</ex>tye of God, and yo<ex>u</ex>r owne renowne amongst <lb/>
            men, The regall power allotted to our Charge makes vs first <lb/>
            Comon Servant<ex>es</ex> to our Creator/ then to those whome we gou<ex>er</ex>ne <lb/>
            (the people) Soe that in the observing the duetie to our God, that we <lb/>
            owe wee deliver blessings to the world, and in p<ex>ro</ex>viding for the <lb/>
            publique good of our States we magnifye the honor of God, like <lb/>
            the Celestiall Bodyes/ that though they haue much venerac<ex>i</ex>on serve <lb/>
            onlye to yield Benefitts to the world/ It is the Excellencye of <lb/>
            our Office, to be the Instrum<ex>en</ex>t<ex>es</ex> whereby greate happynes is deliu<ex>ere</ex>d <lb/>
            to the Nations/ pardon mee, this is not to instruct, for I knowe I <lb/>
            speake to one of A Clearer and quicker Sight then myself/ but <lb/>
            I speake this/ because god bine pleased to graunt mee an happy <lb/>
            victorye one some parte of those rebelling Pyrats/ <ex>tha</ex>t haue soe long <lb/>
            molested/ <ex>th</ex>e peacefull Trade of Europe/ &amp; haue p<ex>re</ex>sent furth<ex>e</ex>r occasio<ex>n</ex> <lb/>
            to route out <ex>th</ex>e generac<ex>i</ex>ons of those that haue bine soe p<ex>er</ex>nitious to the <lb/>
            good of our Nations. I meane that since itt hath pleased God, to bee <lb/>
            soe auspicious to our begin<ex>n</ex>ing in the Conquest of Salley/ wee might <lb/>
            ioye and p<ex>ro</ex>ceed w<ex>i</ex>th hope of like Successe of Warr against Tunnis <lb/>
            Argiere and other places, dens and res<add place="above">e</add>ptacles for the inhumame <lb/>
            Villanies of those that abhore rule &amp; gou<ex>ern</ex>m<ex>en</ex>t, herein while wee extir=<lb break="no"/>
            pate <ex>th</ex>e corruptions, and Malignant Spirrits of the world, we shall <lb/>
            gloryfie <ex>th</ex>e great God/ &amp; p<ex>er</ex>fect A great dutye/ <ex>tha</ex>t will shine as glorious <lb/>

            shall assend sweet as the p<ex>er</ex>fume of <ex>th</ex>e most p<ex>re</ex>tious Odours in <ex>th</ex>e Nostrills <lb/>
            of the Lord/ A worke gratefull &amp; happye to men, A worke whose me=<lb break="no"/>
            morye shalbe reverenced, as long as there shalbe anye remayning A=<lb break="no"/>
            mongst men/ <ex>tha</ex>t loue &amp; honor the pietye and vertue of noble Myndes, <lb/>
            This action I willinglye present to you/ whose pious vetues are equall to <lb/>
            the dignitye of your power/ that wee that are both Servantes to <lb/>
            the great and mightie God/ maye hand in hand tryumph in <ex>th</ex>e glory <lb/>
            this actio<ex>n</ex> pr<ex>e</ex>sents to vs/ Now because <ex>th</ex>e Ilands w<ex>hi</ex>ch you gou<ex>er</ex>ne haue bene eu<ex>er</ex> famous <lb/>
            for the vnconquered strength of yo<ex>u</ex>r Shipping/ I haue sent these my trustye <lb/>
            Servants &amp; Ambassadors to know whether in yo<ex>u</ex>r princelye wisedome/ you <lb/>
            shall thincke fitt to assist mee w<ex>i</ex>th such Forces by Seas/ as shalbe au<ex>n</ex>swerable <lb/>
