            Remembrances for the L<ex>or</ex>ds Co<ex>m</ex>missioners, to put <ex>the</ex>m <lb/>
            in mind of such things, as haue falne into Debate, <lb/>
            about <ex>th</ex>e Demands of <ex>th</ex>e Scotts for maintenance of <ex>thei</ex>r <lb/>
            Army during the Treaty.
         </p>
         <list rend="numbered">
            <item n="1.">
               The 1st thing they are to endeavor, is, a pr<ex>e</ex>sent cessation of Armes
            </item>
            <item n="2.">
               They are by all Hono<ex>ra</ex>ble, safe, &amp; convenient means to find out <lb/>
               some wayes for pr<ex>e</ex>serving the Counties of Northumber, &amp; <ex>th</ex>e B<ex>isho</ex>p<lb break="no"/>
               =prick of Durham, from the hard condition in w<ex>hi</ex>ch they now are in

            <item n="3.">
               For <ex>th</ex>e better effecting heerof, they are to consider how Bar-<lb break="no"/>
               wick, &amp; Carlile may be victualled out of Scotland, &amp; <ex>th</ex>e army <lb/>
               of New-Castle in p<ex>ro</ex>portion be victualled out of England.
            </item>
            <item n="4.">
               They are also for this purpose to take into consideration the <lb/>
               opening of <ex>th</ex>e free passage, &amp; trade betweene Scotland, &amp; New<lb break="no"/>
               castle, by land, &amp; sea, wherby <ex>th</ex>e army <ex>the</ex>r may be better victu-<lb break="no"/>
               alled from Scotland.
            </item>
            <item n="5.">
               If besides the former meanes <ex>the</ex>r be urg<ex>en</ex>t necessity, they are to <lb/>
               take into consideration what other adiacent Counties shall contri-<lb break="no"/>
               bute, &amp; in w<ex>ha</ex>t p<ex>ro</ex>portion, &amp; manner.
            </item>
            <item n="6.">
               They are to remember <ex>th</ex>e g<ex>rea</ex>t detrim<ex>en</ex>t his Ma<ex>jes</ex>tye hath sustained <lb/>
               in his revenues by hindering the trade of Coales, &amp; to make <lb/>
               w<ex>ha</ex>t use they can <ex>the</ex>rof for lessening <ex>th</ex>e contribution. 
            </item>
            <item n="7.">
               They are to take into consideration the Lessening of both Armies.
            </item>
            <item n="8.">
               They are furder to take care, <ex>tha</ex>t upon lessening, or disbanding <lb/>
               of the Army, or otherwise, <ex>the</ex>r be no plundering of the Coun-<lb break="no"/>
               tries, &amp; <ex>tha</ex>t security be given for <ex>th</ex>e same.
            </item>
            <item n="9.">
               They are by all possible meanes to hasten <ex>th</ex>e treaty, &amp; <ex>tha</ex>t <ex>the</ex>r <lb/>
               be <add place="above">noe</add> unnecessary delayes <ex>the</ex>rin.
            </item>
            <item n="10.">
               For <ex>th</ex>e better encouragem<ex>en</ex>t of such counties, as <ex>th</ex>e L<ex>or</ex>ds shall think <lb/>
               fitt to moue to a contribution, they are to declare unto <ex>the</ex>m, <ex>tha</ex>t his <lb/>
               Ma<ex>jes</ex>ty, &amp; his L<ex>or</ex>ds of <ex>th</ex>e g<ex>rea</ex>t Councell will reco<ex>m</ex>mend to <ex>th</ex>e Parliam<ex>en</ex>t, <lb/>
               as well <ex>th</ex>e g<ex>rea</ex>t losses they haue sustained, as the charge they haue, <lb/>
               or shalbe at, for <ex>th</ex>e good, &amp; safety of <ex>th</ex>e rest of <ex>th</ex>e Kingdome.
            </item>
         </list>
         <p>
            These remembrances not to be concluding, but any other <lb/>
            way to be taken, <ex>tha</ex>t <ex>th</ex>e Co<ex>m</ex>missioners shall thinke fitt.
         </p>
