An oath presented to all [th]e protestants
[tha]t weare forced to turne papests
after [th]e takinge of taken in [th]e Pallatinate.
I. N. Poore sinner confesse before god, and all [th]e S[ain]t and before [tha]t preist and pastor of soules standing in [th]e roome of {god} [tha]t I haue all my life gone astray in a {cauesul unecrable} & hereticall religion. & [tha]t in [th]e supper of [tha]t religion I rec{eaved} nothing but plaine Bakers bread; & plaine wine in a Cup and I do beleiue [tha]t all my Ancestors and all others, [tha]t ha{ve} liued in [tha]t faith are damned & p[er]ished for euer: Theref{fore} I p[ro]mise before god & [th]e Virgin Mary his Moth[e]r & before {the} preist and pastor of soules being in [th]e place of god here p[er]{gap: damage} [tha]t I will neuer adhere to [tha]t accursed & hereticall religi{on} so help me god./
